Major Benefits of EPCES Membership
EPCES serves as a unified platform connecting SEZ Units, Developers, EOUs and Government agencies. The Council plays an instrumental role in policy advocacy, regulatory support, industry guidance, trade promotion and strengthening India’s export ecosystem.
Policy Advocacy
EPCES actively represents its members before key government authorities such as the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Ministry of Finance, DGFT, CBIC and State Governments. We raise industry concerns, suggest improvements, and work towards resolving policy-related challenges. Our continuous engagement with policymakers helps strengthen the SEZ and EOU ecosystem and contributes to improving the ease of doing business for our members.
Regulatory Support
EPCES provides expert guidance on the SEZ Act, SEZ Rules, EOU Scheme, Foreign Trade Policy, GST and Customs matters. With support from our Knowledge Partner, BDO India, members receive clarity on compliance requirements, latest regulatory updates, and assistance in resolving operational challenges in a timely and accurate manner. For support or queries, members may write to query@epces.in.
Timely Updates
EPCES ensures members stay informed through regular updates on notifications, circulars, compliance deadlines and important policy developments. Members receive the quarterly and weekly EPCES News Journal and Trade Bulletin, which includes EXIM data, SEZ & EOU updates and DTA-related information. These updates are shared through email as well as dedicated WhatsApp groups for faster access.
Workshops & Training
EPCES conducts regular capacity-building programmes through interactive webinars, seminars and officer-led sessions. These trainings help members understand digital systems, regulatory procedures and compliance requirements more effectively, ensuring smoother operations and better preparedness for policy or system changes.
Trade Promotion
EPCES supports members in expanding their global footprint through participation in international exhibitions, buyer–seller meets, delegations and B2B networking platforms. These initiatives help members identify new markets, build buyer-connects and showcase the strengths of India’s SEZ & EOU sector.
Recognition
The prestigious EPCES Export Awards acknowledge outstanding contribution by SEZ Units, EOUs and Developers. The recognition enhances credibility, brand visibility and motivates members to scale up performance and innovation in exports.
National Support Network
EPCES has a strong national presence with its Head Office in New Delhi and Regional Offices in major SEZ zones across the country. This network ensures that members receive timely support, local handholding and coordinated engagement with Development Commissioners, Customs authorities and other stakeholders. Through dedicated helpdesk services, online query mechanisms and regular interactions, EPCES works closely with members to resolve issues, share best practices and create a more conducive business environment for SEZs, EOUs, Developers and FTWZs.
